09-26

September has been a whirlwind of adventure and amazing moments all over!

The first week of September my husband and I headed off to Washington State for an amazing week of family time, hiking and seeing so much wildlife. We took a boat trip with my family on the Puget Sound and watched my dad jump into the water for a cold plunge haha. We visited the most beautiful greenhouse and park with TONSSS of insanely gorgeous flowers. Then we ventured to the North Cascades National Park for the first time. It was an intimidating and Awe-filled couple of days at the park, ( enjoy the photo of me looking for service.. there was none for 90 miles lol.)

The rugged scape of the park was a gentle reminder of how human we are lol. It was stunningly beautiful and full of wildlife. It was my first time seeing the stars over a range of mountains in the darkest of night. We saw a brown bear, lots of mountain goats and other small animals. Once we came back to San Angelo I had a lovely opportunity as the second photographer for a gorgeous wedding in Odessa. The willow trees... wow. The bride & groom were also the sweetest people. Then I had a stunning local wedding with the most iconic decorations and the happiest bride & groom. This month I've been able to teach and mentor some new photographers and the Lord has reminded me of how much I love teaching and the gift He has given me for it. Romans 12:4-10

See you guys next month :)
